Why we built Borderless
Customs is one of the last corners of logistics still running on fax machines, phone tag, and surprise invoices. Importers, especially smaller ones, get treated like ticket numbers, and too often pay more duty than they should.
Borderless was built to fix that. We pair hands-on brokerage experience with modern technology, so entries clear faster, status is always visible, and a real person answers you, usually within one business day.
We're deliberately a generalist. We're not chasing a single industry. We serve clean, legitimate importers across commodities, and we use technology to ramp up quickly on whatever you ship. As you grow, we grow with you.
And we're picky about the right things. A short fit check at onboarding keeps our book of business legitimate, which protects honest importers, keeps our service sharp, and keeps everyone on the right side of CBP.

Borderless was founded and is run by Joy Xue — a University of Michigan data-science graduate and a licensed U.S. customs broker. Joy started Borderless to bring real software and radical pricing transparency to an industry still run on fax machines, without cutting a single compliance corner. There's no call center and no ticket queue. The person who reviews your onboarding, classifies your goods, and answers your email is the person whose license backs your entries. As we grow, that accountability stays: technology takes the busywork, and a licensed human owns the judgment calls.
