U.S. customs brokerage

Entry filing, classification and duty, run as one system.

Borderless CHB is a customs brokerage licensed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. We file consumption entries and ISF at every U.S. port of entry under a national permit, for importers directly and for the freight forwarders who clear through us.

Why firms move their filings here

Four differences that show up on the invoice

Compliance is the product

Accurate classification, documented valuation and a clean record on every entry. The file is built to answer a CBP question years later, because that is when the question arrives.

Duty reduction as standing practice

Classification, first sale, trade-agreement qualification, origin and drawback are reviewed on every account, not offered as a project when someone asks.

One system, end to end

Documents in, classification and duty computed, entry transmitted to ACE, status visible through release. The same engine prices the public tariff tools and client entries.

Published rates, held

One rate card for importers and forwarders alike, with a 0% duty-disbursement fee and per-entry rates locked for the term of the plan.

Freight forwarders and 3PLs

The licensed broker behind your freight

No licence in-house? We clear your clients' entries as your customs partner. Your book stays inside your account, filing and billing run through you, and we never quote freight or sell to your importers.

How the partnership works

Importers with a broker already

Switching takes about a week

One new power of attorney starts it. The bond transfer, the direct-to-CBP payment setup and your first filings run in parallel, so nothing stalls at the port while the paperwork moves.

Published commitments

What we commit to, in writing

These apply to every account on every plan. The full set, including what sits outside any broker's control, is published on the service commitments page.

Broker review before transmissionEvery entry
No entry or ISF leaves for CBP without a licensed customs broker reviewing the classification, valuation and origin on it. The review is the filing standard, not an upgrade on a plan.
Draft entry returnedSame business day
Complete documents received before 14:00 Pacific on a business day come back as a draft entry the same day, ready for you to check before it files.
ISF filed ahead of loadingNo later than 24 hours before lading
Ocean shipments are filed to the statutory deadline, so the ISF is never the reason a container waits.
Operational replyWithin one business day
Anything sent to entries@ gets a substantive answer, not an acknowledgement, within one business day.

How it works

From documents to release

  1. 01

    Onboarding and screening

Power of attorney, importer registration and bond are put in place, and the account is screened so everything filed under our licence stands up.

  2. 02

    Documents to draft entry

Shipment documents go into the portal and come back as a draft entry with classification and duty computed, ready to check before anything transmits.

  3. 03

    Broker review, then transmission

A licensed broker reviews classification, valuation and origin, then the entry and any partner-agency filings transmit to CBP ACE.

  4. 04

    Release, then post-entry

Status runs through release in the portal. Corrections, refund claims and CBP inquiries are handled on the same file afterwards.

Coverage

418 U.S. ports of entry, one permit, one filer code

Authorises customs business at every U.S. port of entry, with no local permit required. Entries and ISF transmit over ABI direct to CBP ACE under filer code NQR, whichever port your cargo arrives at. The full port list, with CBP's own codes, is published.
