For importers
A customs broker built for the size you are now
Borderless CHB is a licensed U.S. customs broker (CBP filer code NQR) filing entries and ISF at every U.S. port for e-commerce sellers, small businesses, and first-time importers. Flat published rates, a real-time portal, and a licensed broker who reviews every entry before it is transmitted.
Who we serve
Built for importers the big brokerages ignore
E-commerce and marketplace sellers
Amazon FBA, Shopify, and DTC brands importing inventory. Post-de-minimis, every shipment needs an entry; we make that routine instead of terrifying.
Small and mid-size businesses
Manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers importing commercially. Flat rates you can put in a landed-cost model, and a named account owner on your file.
First-time importers
Never filed an entry? We set up your importer number, bond, and CBP payment, and walk you through your first clearance without the jargon.
Importers with multiple entities
Subsidiaries and related companies under one account: each entity its own importer of record, one portal, one bill.
Why now
Importing got harder in 2026. Your broker shouldn't be.
The $800 de minimis exemption is suspended indefinitely, so shipments that used to arrive duty-free with no paperwork now need real customs entries. Tariff layers change monthly. And starting September 18, 2026, CBP voids importer numbers whose company details on file are inaccurate. None of this is optional anymore, and none of it is something you should be figuring out from forum threads.
What you actually need is boring: accurate classification, entries filed on time at a price you knew in advance, and someone accountable when CBP asks a question. That is the whole product. Rates are on thepricing page, every fee explained in thecost guide, and you can estimate your duties free with thetariff simulator.
How it works
Four steps, about a week
Sign one power of attorney
E-signature, same day. It authorizes us to file for you, and it comes straight to you, never through a middleman.
We set up the plumbing
Importer number checked, bond arranged, direct-to-CBP payment configured free, so you never pay a duty-advance percentage.
File in the portal
Send documents, watch classification and filing happen, and see the exact status of every entry through release.
Pay one flat rate
The quote is the invoice. Duties and government fees pass through at cost, itemized.
Questions
What importers ask us first
I sell on Amazon FBA. Who is the importer of record?
You are, or an entity you control. Amazon does not act as importer of record for FBA shipments, so every seller importing inventory needs their own importer number, a customs bond, and a broker to file entries. We set all three up as part of onboarding.
De minimis is gone. What does that mean for my small shipments?
The $800 duty-free de minimis exemption has been suspended for all countries since August 29, 2025, and CBP made the suspension indefinite in June 2026. Shipments that used to arrive duty-free with no entry now need a customs entry, with duties paid. That is why many e-commerce sellers are hiring a customs broker for the first time.
What do I need before my first entry?
Three things, and we handle the setup: a signed power of attorney (e-signature, same day), an importer of record number with accurate company details on file at CBP, and a customs bond. If you have commercial invoices and product details ready, a first entry typically files within days.
How much will it cost me?
Start at a flat $149 per entry with no monthly fee: ISF, up to 5 HTS lines, and one partner-agency filing included, and a 0% duty-disbursement fee: we charge nothing to advance duties, and if you would rather pay CBP yourself we set up direct ACH payment free. Duties and government fees pass through at cost. Sign a 12-month Growth agreement and every entry is $79 with no monthly fee; ISF is $20 when we file it and partner-agency filings are $35.
Can you take over from my current broker?
Yes, and it takes about a week: a new power of attorney, the bond transfer, and direct-to-CBP payment setup all run in parallel while anything in flight finishes with your current broker. No gap, no cargo waiting.
